| Biography Carlos Tramm was born on September 16, 1951 in Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles. Carlos began taking pictures at the early age of eight. When he was fourteen he bought a Polaroid camera with which he started to pursue a career as a professional photographer by taking pictures of tourists at the airport, in hotels and nightclubs. The money he earned was invested in professional cameras and literature about photography. He also traveled afoot in neighborhoods and offered his service from house to house. Slowly but surely he started to make a name for himself and people began contracting him to take pictures at their weddings, birthday, baptism, first communion parties and other social events.
He also became known in the business community. For a long period he was
the principal photographer of the Holiday Inn Hotel in Curaçao. He was
also the principal photographer for the internationally renowned jewelry
stores Spritzer & Fuhrman. Foto Studio Tramm
2nd of May 1975 saw the opening of Foto Studio Tramm in Promenade Shopping
Center, which he expanded with branches in Colon Shopping Center and at
the Dr. Hugenholtszweg. In 1996 Foto Studio Tramm opened the first full
digital service in Curaçao.
